I started using 5paisa mostly because I wanted the research and advisory stuff to help me make better decisions. But it didn’t do much for me. The stock ideas felt kind of generic, like nothing really stood out, and sometimes the timing just didn’t match what I was looking for. Maybe I expected too much, I don’t know, but the research pages also felt a bit messy to navigate. I’d be looking for one thing and then end up clicking around more than actually understanding the data. The updates didn’t feel very smooth either. Support replied, but it was mostly the usual standard answers. For basic trading it might be fine, but if you’re going in mainly for advisory and research, I think it still needs a lot of work.

I’ve been using 5paisa for a few months now, the low brokerage is the main reason I’m still using it. Compared to my previous broker, it does feel cheaper, especially for regular small trades.

That said, some of the charges are not very clear upfront. Things like DP charges and a few small fees only become noticeable later when I check the statement, instead of being shown properly while placing the trade.
Overall, it’s okay for basic trading and the pricing is decent, but I really wish they were more transparent about the total cost before each trade. It feels a bit disappointing when hidden-looking charges show up later, so I’d give it 3 stars for now.

I’ve been using 5paisa mainly for intraday trades, it’s been smooth for me. Orders execute quickly, and I don’t really notice much lag even during busy market hours. It’s not exactly fancy or anything, but yeah, it does the main job well enough for my needs.
